Rob Edwards serves as Vice President and Chief Strategy and Government Affairs Officer for the University of Kentucky and UK HealthCare. He has previously served as Vice President and Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at UK HealthCare. In this role, he led efforts around strategic planning, business development and growth initiatives across the health system, helping to shape the future of healthcare delivery in Kentucky and beyond. With a focus on innovation, collaboration and long-term sustainability, Rob played a key role in advancing UK HealthCare’s mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while expanding access and improving health outcomes across Kentucky. Prior to coming to the University, Rob was appointed by the Governor of Kentucky as the Chief of Staff and Budget Director for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Rob earned his Doctor of Public Health degree from the UK College of Public Health, his Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville and bachelor’s degree from Centre College.
