University-wide Navigation

Dear UK Community,

We are committed to supporting the UK family’s success.

To that end, over the past few years, Transportation Services has greatly expanded mobility options for the campus community, with an emphasis on a broad array of choices for those traveling to, from, and around campus.

These efforts – geared toward meeting the needs of transit riders, bicyclists, pedestrians, and those who choose to share rides – include the BluPass partnership, the bike voucher program, Big Blue Cycles, and the “cash out” program for employees who choose to forgo bringing a motor vehicle to campus for one year.

The University – through Transportation Services – is now exploring the development of a program to further encourage alternative modes of getting to, from, and around campus on a daily basis. We are envisioning a “Commute Club,” which would reward dedicated alternative transportation users.

Please take a short survey about your transportation habits to aid in developing the Commute Club framework. The survey will remain open until Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017. Survey participants will have the chance to win one of several $20 gift cards valid at the UK Bookstore.

Over the past several years, we have undergone a comprehensive process of gathering information and input regarding the challenges and opportunities for transportation and mobility on campus. We have used your invaluable feedback to create the initiatives mentioned above.

I appreciate your continued engagement as we explore new initiatives aimed to better serve our campus.
