Campus Community,

Over the next several weeks, thousands of new students and their families will be visiting us for the first time to register for fall 2018 classes and learn more about our community during ‘’see blue” U orientation sessions.

We need your help in ensuring that the newest members of our community and their families have the best possible experience.

Specifically, between now and July 13 when orientation sessions conclude, you will see some impact to typical summer parking particularly if you normally park in Parking Structure 5 (PS5) on South Limestone or travel through the north part of campus.

The impact will be felt most on the following days, when there are several orientation groups visiting campus at the same time:

  • Tuesday, June 26
  • Tuesday, July 10
  • Wednesday, July 11
  • Thursday, July 12

During these days in particular, we ask that our employees consider some alternative parking where there are numerous employee parking lots or spaces at:

  • Scott Street
  • Taylor/Dickey
  • Comers
  • Reynolds
  • Memorial Coliseum
  • Linden Walk

Please take a look at the UK parking maps to view all campus parking options. Thanks for your consideration during this important time in the life of our newest community members. As always, thank you for your commitment to UK and the work we do together.

Regards,

Eric N. Monday

Executive Vice President for Finance & Administration
