Roxie Allison serves as Vice President for Financial Planning and Chief Budget Officer at the University of Kentucky. A lifelong Kentuckian, she earned both her bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Roxie has dedicated her professional career to the University of Kentucky, building extensive experience in higher education finance, academic medicine, strategic financial planning, and administration. Most recently, she served as Associate Chief Financial Officer for UK HealthCare, where she led finance and administration for the College of Medicine, partnering with the Dean and leaders across the college and academic health system to support growth, strategic priorities and financial sustainability.
Throughout her career, Allison has held a variety of leadership roles with increasing responsibility, developing expertise in budgeting, financial planning, resource management, and organizational strategy. Her experience spans the university's academic, research and health care missions, providing her with a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing a leading public research university and academic medical center.
She is committed to fostering collaboration, supporting informed decision-making and helping position the University of Kentucky for continued success in service to the Commonwealth.
